A CNDH INTERNAL MEDICINE PHYSICIAN'S WORK LIFE: 

The Chickasaw Nation Medical Center’s (CNMC) Internal Medicine specialty primarily serves adult and elderly First American patients in a state-of-the-art, well-equipped medical facility in Ada, Oklahoma.

CNMC Internal Medicine physician will provide quality specialty medicine to a highly honored First American elderly patient population. This will include providing long-term comprehensive care management of complex and common medical illnesses to primarily elderly patients; however, may be asked to provide consultations or services to younger adults and adolescent populations when needed.

This position will serve directly under the supervision of the chief of primary care independently in a supportive hospital and adjoining clinic setting.

CNDH Internal Medicine specialists have the support of and access to medical multi-disciplinary team members as needed with in-house laboratory and imaging services available.

Each CNDH physician has access to a comprehensive referral system to support the individual care needs of each patient.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES


Must have successfully completed or pursuing a post-graduate residency in Internal Medicine accredited by the ACGME or AOA
 
Provide documentation of work in active Internal Medicine setting during the last 12 months or recent completion of accredited program
 
Hold current unrestricted medical licensure and be eligible for an Oklahoma license
 
Have a current unrestricted DEA number
