We are currently looking for a Full Time Acute Care CNA/Clerk to join our Acute Care Team team located at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center.
Summary
Provides basic nursing and administrative services in the Acute Care department.
Responsibilities
- Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types

- Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
- Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Performs Certified Nurse Assistant duties as assigned
- Takes direction from charge nurse and primary nurse
- Takes and records vital signs and reports abnormal results to the primary nurse
- Performs finger stick blood sugars and reports to primary nurse
- Assists patients with personal hygiene activities
- Assists patients with meals and toileting
- Assists patients with ambulation and bedside commode
- Lifts and turns patients as ordered
- Prepares room and bed for patients
- Strips bed and cleans equipment from room upon discharge of patient
- Responsible for cleaning dirty equipment and bedside commode after patient use
- Records care given and reports patient care observations
- Maintains and documents intake and output
- Prepares shift reports
- Performs all other duties as assigned

Experience:

Education:
- High School, GED or Equivalent
Credentials:
- Pass general background check
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certified Nursing Assistant
